BARRACUDA DIVING INDIA began operations in 1993 to promote the sport of recreational diving in India. Affiliated to PADI of California, USA, the leading dive education organization in the world, we are first and only PADI 5 star resort with in the entire Indian sub-continent .Our membership, held since 1997, recognizes the high standard of diver education ,staff training, safety, equipment and service maintained and denotes a quality control assurance to divers worldwide.

QUALIFICATIONS- Owner Venkatesh Charloo and Karen Gregory are both highly qualified PADIIDC staff instructors and Emergency first response  instructors with extensive diving and teaching experience in Hong Kong , Philippines, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Maldives , Andaman  and Lakshadweep islands .They are able to offer a wide range of certification courses and dive packages to suit individual needs. The barracuda team proudly receive three PADI ‘awards of Excellence’ for outstanding dedication to customer care, service , safety and diver training.

For groups wishing to enrol in dive programs, pool training may be conducted in a resort convenient to your location by prior booking. We’ll come to you!

EQUIPMENT maintenance and servicing is a high priority with the Barracuda team to ensure diver comfort and safety at times. We offer top brand names including Sherwood , Scuba Pro, Oceanic sea quest . All regulators are fitted with Alternate Air source, Pressure Gauge, Depth Gauge and Compass. We request diver who wish to use DIN fitting to carry their own adaptor. All prices are fully inclusive of equipment with 3mm Shorty wetsuit.

Diving is the authorized dealer for scuba pro and Uwatec offering top brand scuba equipment, dive computers and accessories. Equipment servicing is conducted by an internationally certified scuba equipment technician.

SAFETY, customer care and fun ensured with dives conducted to suit the individual and dive groups limited to 2-4 persons per certified dive master/instructor. A comprehensive medical kit including portable oxygen, communication system and emergency plan is on board at all times. All staff members are certified to administer basic first aid and CPR and are extremely knowledgeable on local dive sites and marine life.
