Everyday millions of tons of food is wasted are over the world. Why do you think this is happening? How can this are solved.

Staggering amount of eatables is dumped intentionally after satiating hunger rather than reusing that. In my opinion, low prices of food articles, improved financial conditions of individuals and existence of copious luscious food items are prominent causes behind it. While hefty taxes on goods and awareness campaigns can deter it exceptionally.

Ostensibly, wastage of good items in contemporary world can be evident in marriages, parties and other places because of various reasons. First and foremost, delectable eating options are available globally which are easily accessible. Moreover, every individual in the social reform can access such items at reasonable costs. Therefore, this causes switching of eating patterns of mankind resulting in wastage of leftover food. Apart from this, organization of events such as parties and charity shows prepare food to immeasurable extent. Does every bit of food is consumed there? Certainly, these are huge amounts of food to be thrown as useless. For example, in a report published in ‘Express Journal’, most of the cuisines after parties are left in the surrounding being cheap. Thus, money value of food items paves their way to dump yard.

To eradicate this from society, governing bodies can play a paramount rule. By levying huge taxes an eatable, value of consumable things can be uplifted. Eventually, masses would buy products at higher costs and use to its extreme extent. Besides this, awareness programs including food generation process, starvation an earth and other themes must be organised. Though only an individual can instill ethics and morals to not do the same, but it can act as an eye opener. Hence, interference of government can prove efficacious in this regard.

In compendium, it is unquestionable that considering food as garbage does not create any problem. In my opinion, abundance of resources has lead to this catastrophe. Rigid actions by government bodies can prove as boon provided mankind shows a heart full cooperation.
