Without capital punishments (the death penalty), our lives are less secure and crimes of violence increase. Capital punishment is essential to control violence in society.

Irrefutably, to ensure the peaceful life of the innocent people and implicate fear amid individuals, death penalty acts as a deterrent against brutal crimes. I favor this too; however, the culprits should be penalized as per the severity/ degree/ nature of the offence.

Firstly, considering the safety an utmost priority, capital punishment, to the first degree murders as well as issues where the security of the entire nation is jeopardized, should be given to prevent/worn the masses to commit horrific crimes. This penalty is justified as someone is facing the adverse consequences only of his bad actions; including the heinous offences such as killing someone and other certain crimes against humanity then the law should be able to address the action in a way that discourages other too from attempting the same actions. For instance, a girl was brutally raped and murdered as well by a group in Delhi; the sentence of death to them has created sensation as such stringent actions are rarely taken. Hence, it turns to be the best kind of punishment to the offenders to drop down the crime rate and create peaceful society.

Secondly, the death penalty is mandatory respective to the seriousness of the misconduct to make the nation crime free as well as to give justice to the victims and their families. However, in the case of minor crimes committed for self pleasure and to cater financial needs, including robbery as well as snatching, such punishment is injustice as it stands against the humans right to have a chance to rectify themselves. Moreover, implementation of any type punishment to any criminal according to the degree of crime is necessary to give lesson to the rest as well to make them to think twice before going to any kind of the work which is not in a favor of the law of the nation. Thus, the nation can be prosperous and people can survive peacefully.

To conclude, as per my perspective, this type of punishment is advisable in controlling violence, but in the case of brutal misconducts only not to non-violent offenders. It would be favorable for the country and its countrymen.
